Well its been just shy of 2 weeks since I've moved out of the parentals nest and although I haven't eaten today since I have all of $1.20 to my name, the whole endevour is going extremely well. I'd like to take this time to point out a fact that apparently some of my friends are angry with me since I have apparently dumped them and moved on to greener pastures, which couldn't be any further from the truth. It is definitely extremely hard to catch up with people when I go to Uni 4 days a week, work 4 shifts a week, train twice a day and then try and fit in study, and other necessities such as cooking and doing laundry. Therefore I would like to apologise if I can't make it to all all of your engagements as I'm probably doing any of the above things mentioned. Furthermore I can't wait to go on holidays in 3 weeks where I'll be able to spend much more time with your lovely selves. In a lighter note, hope everyone is still coming to the Housewarming Partay of awesomeness, if you need the address just msg either myself or Josh and I'll see you all laters.
Well I think this may be the news of the week, but I am actually going to moving out of home. In fact it was another moment of shear spontaneity and I will be moving into my new home on the 19th of November. But yes the details....
I'll be living with my uni mate Josh (the weird and wonderful guy with the massive amounts of facial hair at my birthday BBQ) and his female friend from Rockhampton, in a fully sick 3 bedroom old school Queenslander/cottage at Newmarket. If any of you know where Newmarket swimming pool is, than my new house is across the street. :D There will definitely be a house warming party, though well after exams and I will let you all know how it goes with plenty of pics. :D
Take it easy and just think, no longer will you need to have a sherpa and a days travel to get to my humble abode.
Hey all you crazy swinging cats, I have some new to share with all of you. One of the girls for uni bought me a ticket for my birthday to see The Whitlams play with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra at QPAC. The only catch is I was supposed to go with a friend of hers who was buying another ticket from her. To cut a long story short, my friend has a spare ticket for anyone wanting to come along with me. You will have to buy said ticket off her, though we are sitting one row back from the first row on the balcony. :)

Well its taken me until yesterday to realise that dan's birthday is in fact not on sat night but on friday night instead. Unfortunately as i work friday nights and being a dumb bastard, I'll have to either call in sick or go to work first. Woah yeah sorry bout the title, its just that i finally have some sort of INTERNET CONNECTION!!!!, the stupid wankers at Telstra have not been friendly with my connection so i have had the internet for like 5 mins a day for the last couple of weeks, but yeah just thought i should pose a couple of question to all of you out there.
A) Do you think it would be too greedy for me to go out and buy a 51cm flatscreen TV and a decent DVD player for my room, simply because i can? That would take the total number of tech things in my room up to a Computer, with speakers, lava lamp, phone recharger, and mp3 player recharger, so i may be running out of plug space... not to mention that i'll be getting a Wii on the 7th of dec.. :)
B) This one's not really a question as it is a news item, it looks like i'll be doing engineering at UQ next year. I really wanted to do it at QUT cause Qut shits all over UQ anyday of the week, no to mention its closer. But yeahunfortunately the UQ engineering program shits all over the QUT one, so yeah i'll probably see you all out there next year. Though thats another four years at uni for me...
FUCKING GO THE BRONCO'S and on another note i may or may not have had a wee bit to drink tonights so you all have a good one and catch you later. Alright well sorry to all who haven't seen or heard from me in a while, been fucking busy with a new job at Kedron Wavell where i basically just annoy either Murray all shift long :p, and assignments my heart goes out to aaron who endured the 46 page just under 7000 word assignment from hell, and last but not least the failings of women-kind, or should i say the failings of the interaction between myself and women-kind. This may go on for a while and if it does blame BRI cause she was the one that wanted to hear EVERYTHING in a 12 page dossier of what is happening with the GF, so yeah decided to write it here so i wouldn't have to tell everyone the same story like 15 times.
ANYWAY.... well basically i have no idea what is going on between megan and myself. Everything was going perfectly like i couldn't wish for the dates i went on with her to go any better, yet somehow it fucked up. Basically the last time i heard from her was the night of pete's little alcohol based gathering (btw got 74% on the exam the next morning) and she had blown me off that night since i was supposed to do something with her, and her excuse whilst apologetic was quite stupid. But i thought she might need some time so i waited till the next tues and sent her a msg telling her when ii was available and if she was up for doing something then.... and i still haven't heard back. I gave her a call whilst at work on the sat just gone (since she was going to TAS on sunday) and the call rang out, so i jumped on the work phone and called to see if she was screening the calls yet it too rung out. And to put the icing on the cake, today i was at work and i saw her best friend Mary outside my work sitting down with her mother, and she noticed i was in work so she waved at me, yet when i tried to see her when she was about to leave i was trying to wave her over and she just shook her head, waved and left...... so therefore i don;t think things are going well, yet i still hold the thesis that women are actually out to get me and i will never understand them, but yeah thats about it, so enjoy and if i don;t get to see you all on the holi's then we'll have to catch up another time.
I would just like to make a point of thanking all of you who came into said valley to the Zoo, which despite having a lack of animals except jack who unfortunately was there as well, and drunk off his tits, came to watch lukey-j and myself play and it was awesome. Apparently amanda has photo's so pester her for them :) and all you bitches who piked will have to come in to the next gig we play for them cause there are a few in the pipeline coming up.
Anyway i need sleep cause i drove up to the coast at 6:30 this morning, so have a good one, Cheers Dean
